Primestor's target markets are characterized by large and growing demand that outstrips supply. The Southern CA housing market is massively undersupplied, especially for the “missing-middle-income households” such as teachers, first responders, health care workers and public sector employees. Because Primestor is deeply engaged in the urban minority markets in which we operate, we have boots-on-the-ground knowledge on the residential solutions required for different communities and demographics. We understand size, pricing, amenities, layout, finishes.

Primestor has brought in Dalila Sotelo as President of its Housing Division, with the intent to expand its mission to develop, acquire, and enhance residential properties to impact and empower the communities that we serve. Our expanded capacity means we can create a more sustainable and equitable communities. Ms. Sotelo has been actively involved in housing development and finance for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has been an effective advocate of housing for all income levels and has spent her time promoting this effort across the country. Ms. Sotelo has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, private sector and public sector. With over 10 years in leadership positions at the local, county and state levels, Ms. Sotelo has served as an appointee of two Governors and three Mayors representing the community and real estate industry.

Under the leadership of Ms. Sotelo, Primestor has launched its new initiative which includes a pipeline of up to 4,800 residential units which we will build with a focus on: co-location to transit nodes, rent attainability, proximity to job centers, density and environmental performance.
